Why we Sing in the Spirit
Singing in the Spirit Sometimes the congregation may sing and harmonise in what appears to be a foreign language. The apostle Paul called this “singing with the Spirit” This is a further expression of our praise to God. People are not in a trance, nor are they unable to stop themselves. Expressed with sensitivity this singing can bring an extra dimension to our worship. “I will sing with the Spirit, and I will sing with the mind also” (1 Corinthians 14:15)
